About Sight for All United

Since 2016, Sight for All United has been on a mission to connect people to the vision care they need by breaking down barriers so every person can reach their full vision potential. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit, we work alongside trusted eye care professionals in the community to bridge the gap between people and the care they deserve. What started as coordinating access to critical eye surgeries and medications has grown into an award-winning organization serving thousands of people of all ages through a range of programs and services.

Access to Care
We connect individuals to local eye care providers based on their insurance, location, and clinical needs – helping schedule appointments, navigating complex medical language, providing Spanish translation services, and arranging transportation.

Financial Assistance
For pre-qualifying individuals, we provide financial assistance for eye exams, glasses, medical and surgical care, and access to low vision support and devices – ensuring cost is never the reason someone goes without care.

In-School Vision Van
In partnership with Vision to Learn, we bring comprehensive eye exams and glasses directly to students at their schools – so children who fail vision screenings and do not already visit an eye doctor get the care they need without ever leaving their school building.

In-School Vision Van Referral Program
When a child’s vision van exam reveals a need for additional care, we step in to make sure they don’t fall through the cracks. We work with families to verify insurance, identify local providers, schedule appointments, and arrange transportation – ensuring every child gets the follow-up care they need, with financial assistance available for those without insurance.

Community Vision Screenings
We meet people where they are – at food pantries, shelters, rehab centers, and adult day centers – to conduct screenings that identify vision concerns and connect individuals to follow-up care and assistance.

Telehealth Vision Screening Truck
Our mobile telehealth truck takes community screenings further with advanced diagnostic equipment capable of detecting early signs of glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts, and other sight-threatening conditions. Screenings are conducted by students in an ophthalmic assistant certification program, supervised by a trained eye care professional – serving the community while investing in the next generation of vision care providers.

None of this work would be possible without the generosity and support of our community. Because clear vision is not a privilege – it’s a right for all.
